Hugo de Jong is professor of medical physics in the field of radiology and nuclear medicine. His professional interests focus on medical physics of x-ray and nuclear imaging, teaching of medical physics and training medical physics residents.
His research interests include CT imaging for stroke, Spectral CT imaging, PET instrumentation, quantification and pharmacokinetic modeling, and SPECT instrumentation and quantification. The latter with a focus on radionuclide therapy and more specific, liver radioembolization. Hugo was awarded with several grants, including a VIDI and an ERC Consolidator Grant.
